Say It With Flowers

Would you like to honor a member of your family or remember a loved one? Perhaps you want to thank God for His many blessings! Sign-up to sponsor flowers for Sunday services.  Each arrangement is  $22 and the sign-up sheet is posted in the ZFC.  Please pre-pay by check or online using the [Online Giving] button above.

Indicate “Altar Flowers” in the memo section on your check. Flowers are available to pick up after the 10:30 a.m. worship service. Please return the plastic cups to the church office. The plastic cups fit into our brass urns and are reused each Sunday. Thank you.

 

Giving... 

People are writing fewer and fewer checks and some write no checks at all. In addition, people often have little or no cash on them. Electronic giving is a simple and easy way to faithfully give to the Lord and to fulfill the words of Scripture as they say – On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income (1 Corinthians 16:2). -Pastor Demel

Please consider participating in a new program designed to simplify weekly giving in our congregation.

Electronic Giving will enable every household or individual to make their church offering using electronic funds transfer (EFT). You may already be using EFT to pay your mortgage, car payment or insurance premium through an automatic withdrawal from your checking or savings account.  There is no cost to you for this new giving option. If you are currently giving on a weekly basis, you will no longer need to write out 52 checks a year or prepare 52 envelopes. And, when travel, illness or other circumstances prevent you from attending services, this program will allow your weekly offerings to continue on an uninterrupted basis.

Planned Gifts
Planned giving presents an opportunity for donors to structure a gift that not only provides for the future of Zion Lutheran but also achieves a variety of financial objectives. Deferred gifts include bequests, life insurance, trusts, and gifts of stock or real estate. There are numerous tax advantages to planned gifts.
