Grandparents Day
What a delight it was to meet so many GrandParents & GrandFriends on Thursday at Preschool. We are all blessed by the love and care of families and friends. From craft projects to bottle rockets, from singing to ringing, from story telling and story reading – the morning was filled with activities for all. Zion appreciates all the people who came – it testifies to the strong family feeling that we enjoy on our campus.
Preschool Grandparents Day
This is always a special day spent with your child’s grandparents or grand friends. We will get started at 8:45 and spend some time together in the classroom. Breakfast snacks will be provided, a book will be read, and a fun craft will be out to work on together. At 10:00 we will move to the Fellowship Center to enjoy some songs the children have prepared and eat together. No afternoon daycare will be provided this day and preschool will be closed May 2nd which is Kindergarten through eighth grade Grandparent’s Day.
Mother’s Day Tea
Please set aside the morning of May 8th to spend some time in the class in honor of Mother’s Day. Your child is looking forward to serving you tea and snacks and showing you how much they appreciate all your hard work and devotion. We will get started at 8:30 and be done around 9:30. My hope is that even those working moms might be able to rearrange schedules so they can attend. All are welcome to attend this day even if it is not a regularly scheduled school day. If you have a conflict and are not able to make it, please come talk to me so that we can figure out a backup plan.
Last Day of School
On our last day together, June 4th, will be spent having a special day in our classroom, so please plan to attend. More information will be coming.
