Let's Run Together - Thanksgiving 5k Walk/Run

Our fun-loving runner, PE Teacher, Athletics Director, Mrs. Bunt, led a group of students, alumni, parents & teachers in a recent run to support a great cause in our local community!  

 

 

 

Coaching Opportunities Available

We're looking  for a "few good men/women" to serve as coaches for our after school sports program.  What a great opportunity to share your passion for a sport with our youth - we need you & hope you will prayerfully consider being part of Zion's fantastic, fun-filled sports program.  Please contact Mrs. LaDorna Bunt at lbunt@zlcs.org if you are interested or have any questions.

 2011-12 PE Uniforms
PE Uniform Order Form    
PE Uniforms are required for 7th and 8th grade students.  Please note: returning  students may wear their existing PE uniform if it fits and is in good condition.
5th and 6th grade students are not required to have PE uniforms this year. However, if your child is going to play ANY Zion after-school sport throughout the year, they must purchase a PE uniform because the PE uniform serves as our school sports uniform.  Please check with Mrs. Bunt, lbunt@zlcs.org, if you need assistance with sizes.  (These are not ordered through True Grits.)

Friday, April 15 marked our 2nd year of participating in the Calvin Christian Track Meet in Escondido.  It was a fantastic day of running, jumping, sprinting & throwing!   Thank you to all the Zion students that jumped in and proudly represented our school - our participation was outstanding!
