Students were given the instructions and book for our second quarter book project, The Orphan of Ellis Island, a historical fiction about an orphan boy who goes back in time and finds a family. It’s a book about American heritage. The instructions will be posted online and will be emailed to you. The deadline dates are included below.

On Thursday, November 17, we are heading to Riley’s Farm for our Revolutionary War Field Trip Adventure! Riley’s Farm is in Oak Glen near Yucaipa. It would take us about an hour to get there. We can take other parents, if you are willing to pay the $16.00 for admission. Our drivers are Mr. and Mrs. Streich, Mr. Avery, and Mrs. Schaffer. Thank you for your help!

Please make sure your student is there! All students are required to attend.

Auditions for the program are on Monday, November 7, at 3:15 P.M. in Room 16.

Your child will come home with an orange sheet of spelling words every Monday. The list will also be on this newsletter at the bottom.

There are no spelling pretests.

Tests will still be on Fridays.
