Reaching Out to the Military Recruits
On Sunday, November 11...

the high school youth of Zion will be attending the worship service at Edson Range on Camp Pendleton. During the service which is led by Chaplain Mark Steiner, the youth will present “My Prayer Book” to each recruit that is present at the service. This is a book of Lutheran prayers which the recruits will be able to keep with them
throughout boot camp and the rest of their lives. The youth were able to purchase these prayer books for the recruits with the money that they raised through our Christmas Babysitting event last Christmas. The youth will also include a personal letter of encouragement inside each book and will provide some cookies for the recruits before they go back to boot camp.

"House Build" in Mexico

Mark Your Calendars

Christmas is quickly approaching and once again we will have many different Christmas activities to help us share the true meaning of Christmas.

Fallbrook Christmas Float

December 1

We will once again be having a float in the Fallbrook Christmas parade. Float decorating will begin at 9:00am and will continue until we head down to the parade route at 3:00pm. The parade begins at 5:00pm. Everyone is welcome to help decorate the float. Riders are also needed for the float. We just ask that the riders also join us to help decorate. If you are interested in helping, please contact Lisa Dufresne.

Annual Living Nativity

December 8

Our annual Living Nativity! Come and experience what it may have been like back on the night that Jesus was born, complete with live animals! Come early and experience the Bethlehem Village, explore the shops and see what life was like during the time of Jesus: taste freshly baked bread, work in the woodshop, smell the spices in the spice shop, or just walk around and experience the village.

December 9

The Living Nativity will once again be presented at the Church Christmas Party.

Annual NOYZ Babysitting

December 15

Our Annual NOYZ Babysitting. This is an opportunity for the moms and dads to take some time off and get some Christmas shopping done, make cookies, clean the house, or just relax. The cost is $10 per child or $20.00 per family. The babysitting is open from 1:00-8:00pm and dinner is included. You can come for the whole time or just a few hours. The money will be used to support a family in need.
